We’re releasing a small mandatory patch for EVE: Valkyrie – Warzone to address a number of issues and bugs raised after our initial release.
While our first post-Warzone patch is small, rest assured we are continuing to take your feedback on board; we’re always looking forward to how Valkyrie can be further improved and we will continue our mission to eliminate bugs, as well as to improve on and add new features for everyone in the coming months.
Mouse & Keyboard Controls
This patch contains a fix for custom key bindings not being saved after exiting the client, both for controllers and mouse & keyboard input. If you’ve been experiencing issues either with our presets or having difficulty editing key bindings, now is a great time to experiment with your own custom inputs.
It’s possible to customise your controls by navigating to Controller Bindings in the Settings menu. As part of this patch, we’ve also increased the default mouse sensitivity value, which can also be adjusted from the Tactical Menu by navigating to the Options page, along with mouse acceleration.
A great place to experiment with inputs is in our Test Arena, if you navigate to Chronicles –> Training –> Test Arena. This places you in an endless AI battle; it’s also a good place to test out different ships and weapons away from the pressure of PvP combat.
Our fixes in this patch are listed below:
- Bug fix for custom key bindings not being saved after exiting the client
- Bug fix for issues when customising input on Pitch and Yaw
- Bug fix for rare client crashes
- Increased the default mouse sensitivity to 10 and acceleration to 5
